Pishing in the park
A bit of sagacious pishing coaxed a male Blackcap from the wildlife hedge in St Andrews Park this morning - it had been calling and even broke into brief sub-song. Nearby there were 2 Coal Tits in the park-keeper's compound along with a Chaffinch, a Blackbird, Great and Blue Tits and a Robin. A Jay and at least 1 Mistle Thrush were also seen along with a dozen or so Starlings and 2 Grey Squirrels. Several Snowdrops were in flower.
Another 2 Coal Tits showed well at the station.
