St Andrews Park

It was cool and cloudy when I visited the park so I didn't see too much. In the meadow area there was a Marmalade Hoverfly, a mining bee (probably a Lasioglossum species), a Yellow Dung Fly and a small Grass Moth. The pond produced lots of tadpoles and a few Pond Skaters. What looked like a Melanostoma hoverfly was perched on a leaf.

In the flat there is a Small Tortoiseshell butterfly. It looks pretty settled but it seems very early to hibernate.
