Like a Brimstone cowboy

A Brimstone was flying at the station this morning - my first butterfly for the patch this spring, hurrah! Not much else to report other than this Goldfinch.

At Fairlawn Road a Wolf Spider was sunning himself on a stone.

A patch of Common Field Speedwell was growing at the top of St Andrews Road.

In the garden there were 5 Blackbirds, a Dunnock, 2 Blue Tits, a Robin, 2 Woodpigeons and a Wren.
