Narroways!

Butterflies were in great numbers on the reserve this morning - c30 Meadow Brown, c25 Marbled White, c20 Ringlet, 2 Comma, 2 Speckled Wood.Also seen were Broad Centurion, a Sawfly larva, Large Red Damselfly, an Azure Damselfly, a couple of Leafcutter Bees, the bugs Stenotus binotatus and Corizus hyoscyami, a Speckled Bush-cricket, 2 7-spot Ladybirds,and lots of Oedemera beetles.

A Chiffchaff and a Coal Tit were singing and 2 Ravens were very much in evidence.
