This morning a
Weevil (possibly a Vine Weevil) was trundling around on the wall on the platform. On an Ivy leaf there was a
spider which looked a bit like one of the jumping spiders but sadly I couldn't get a decent photo before it disappeared. There was some
Scarlet Pimpernel in the flower bed where I've seen it occasionally in previous years, while lots of
Purple Toadflax and
Grey Sedge Carex divulsa was much in evidence on the track side.

Riband Wave moth was on the windscreen of a parked car in Brigstocke Road.
